Purchase rules (Terms and conditions)

These rules apply to every purchase from the Arisa Villar shop. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read them and agree to them.

1. Who I am

The shop is run by Arisa Villar, an individual business operator (individuali veikla) in Lithuania under an individual license number 1441449. Email: villar.arisa@gmail.com.

2. What I sell

The shop sells signed books and book boxes. Photos and descriptions are for illustration. Because each box is made by hand and to order, small differences between boxes and the photos may occur.

3. Placing an order

Your order is a request to buy. It is confirmed when I send you an order confirmation email. I may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if an item is unavailable, if there was a pricing error, or if I suspect fraud.

4. Made to order

Every signed book and book box is custom-made.

5. Prices and payment

• Prices are in US dollars (USD) or EUR.

• I am not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to my prices.

• Payment is taken in full when you place your order, even though the signed books and book boxes ship later.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your card details.

• Your bank may charge foreign transaction or currency conversion fees. Those are between you and your bank.

6. Shipping

• I fulfill orders from Lithuania or from the United States, depending on the order.

• Delivery usually takes up to 30 business days via standard post. This is an estimate.

• I'll email you a tracking number when your order ships.

• Please check your shipping address carefully at checkout. If a box is returned because of a wrong or incomplete address, you will pay for reshipping.

• Customs duties, import taxes, or fees may apply. These are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in my prices.

• The box is yours from the moment the carrier delivers it. If it is lost or arrives damaged, see section 8.

7. All sales final

Because every box is made to order, all sales are final. I do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges, and orders cannot be changed or cancelled once production begins. The only exceptions are the damaged, defective, or incorrect items described in section 8. Full details are on the Returns page.

8. Damaged, defective, incorrect, or lost items

If your box arrives damaged, is defective, or isn't what you ordered, email me within 7 days of delivery at villar.arisa@gmail.com with your order number and clear photos of the box and packaging. I'll review your case and, where appropriate, repair or replace the box.

If your package is lost or badly delayed, email me, and I'll help you sort it out with the carrier.

9. Problems with your order or payment

Please contact me first at villar.arisa@gmail.com before disputing a charge with your bank. Most problems can be solved quickly by email, and I'll do my best to make things right.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, images, artwork, and book content, belongs to Arisa Villar. You may not copy, reuse, or sell it without my written permission. Buying a box gives you the box and its contents for your personal use, not any rights to reproduce them.

11. Your personal data

How I collect and use your information is explained on the Privacy Policy page.

12. Limits of my responsibility

I take care to prepare and ship every box properly. To the extent the law allows, I am not responsible for indirect or incidental damages, or for delays or failures caused by events outside my control, such as carrier problems, customs delays, natural events, or supplier delays. Nothing in these rules limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be waived.

13. Governing law

These rules are governed by the laws of Lithuania.

14. Changes

I may update these rules from time to time. The version posted on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
