Payments

Accepted payment methods

You can pay with:

• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard)

• Apple Pay

• Google Pay

Which options appear at checkout can depend on your device and browser.

Currency

All prices are in US dollars (USD) or EUR. If your card is in another currency, your bank will convert the amount and may charge a foreign transaction fee. That fee is set by your bank, not by me.

When you're charged

You pay the full amount when you place your order. Every signed book and book box is custom-made and shipped at a later date, but your card is charged at checkout, not when the box ships.

Security

Payments are processed by Stripe, a payment provider trusted by millions of businesses. Your card details go directly to Stripe over a secure connection. I never see or store your card number. Some banks may ask you to confirm the payment with an extra step (such as a code or an approval in your banking app), which is normal.

Prices and taxes

The total you see at checkout, including shipping, is what you pay to me. I am not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. Customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged when the box enters your country are not included and are the buyer's responsibility. See the Shipping page for details.

Your receipt

After you pay, you'll receive an order confirmation by email. If you don't see it within an hour, check your spam folder or email me.

Payment problems

• Payment declined? Check your card details and available balance, try another card, or contact your bank.

• Charged twice or something looks wrong? Email me at villar.arisa@gmail.com with your order number, and I'll sort it out. Please contact me before disputing the charge with your bank, since most problems can be solved faster by email.

Refunds

All sales are final, as explained on the Returns page. If I approve a refund, for example, in case I myself cancel the order due to unforeseen reasons, it goes back to your original payment method. Your bank may take several business days to show it.
